This is a hands on workshop where you will be working live on the site with your own profile, making use of that 80%.

Who is this workshop for?

BDM’s, Consultants, Professional Services, and anyone who wants to network online.

This LinkedIn workshop will give you the opportunity to learn how to network successfully online and build some great relationships with people you may not ordinarily have access to.

We will work through:

The key elements of your profile
Searching effectively
Making the initial contact
Building rapport
Getting the best from groups
Your recommendations
Keeping in contact

Making your time pay!

By the end of the workshop, you will have a full understanding of how you can use LinkedIn to your business’ advantage. People remember those that entered the space first, not necessarily the biggest, so boost your online profile at the same time. Remember, if you don't make your online presence known, your competitors may get there before you.

You will need to bring your own wireless capable laptop which we will connect to our wireless network. This will enable you to make full use of LinkedIn and work on your profile live.
Sessions are limited and will be strictly on a first come, first served basis, so please book at your earliest convenience. A laptop can be hired in advance if needed for a nominal sum.

The investment is $250 +gst ($281.25) and will run from 9.00am until 12.00pm.

 

Social Media Training for Beginners, Building "Brand You".

There are quite a few ways of finding out more about social media, such as webinars and boot camps, but if you are thinking about getting started, or know a little about it, this is the social media training workshop for you. It will be a "hands on" workshop where you will get the tools you need up and running.

It will cover:

  1. What is social media and why should I be doing it?
  2. Getting started with a blog. You will be building your own simple blog.
  3. What to write in your blog, what to call it, and it's purpose.
  4. Twitter and the Twitter tools such as Tweetdeck, to make it easy to manage. Your Twitter account will be up and running.
  5. What to say and adding value
  6. Monitoring what people are saying about you and your brand, setting up Google alerts

You will need to bring your own laptop that can take advantage of the training centre's wireless broadband connection. A laptop can be hired from the training centre for a nominal fee if required. Places are limited, so please book early. Don't be afraid if you think you have to have technical knowledge to do this, you don't!

The investment is $250 +gst ($281.25) per person. 9.00am – 12pm
