So you want to run a webinar

Trainings and meetings used to always be run in person, with people travelling from all over to come together to discus or learn. That need not be the case any more, and more and more businesses are turning to virtual meetings and online seminars because of ease, as well as cost. With no travel expenses to worry about, there really isn’t much cost at all.

webinarSo what is a webinar?

It is a live meeting or training that is presented via the internet, so participants can watch, listen and interact via their own computer. All that is needed is a broadband internet connection, a computer with both audio and microphone and preferably a headset. That’s it.

The presentation is delivered from the presenters computer to all of the attendees who have connected via a simple web link, and can see and hear via either VOIP (voice over IP) or telephone dial in.

How can I use a webinar?

You may want to get your team together from across the country or even the globe to see a new product launch, or a new initiative, or be inspired by a guest presenter, whatever it is you want to share. Apart from being able to present to many at any one time (up to 1000 on most platforms) you can run presentations this way either as a one off, or as a regular event, the choice is yours.

How do I run one?

You can do it yourself with many different platforms, but if you really want someone to organize it, to hold your hand and give you some guidance, you’ve come to the right place. It is nerve wracking attempting your first one as you may have no idea what to expect, or what button does what, so there is another way, we can do it for / with you.

What do I need to do for the event?

You simply need to send the link that will be created for you, to your database to inform possible attendees of the event and do any other marketing you wish. Oh, and create your presentation!

We will organise the event depending on the package you choose so it's up to you how much or little you want to be involved. In case you are wondering, "Go to Webinar" is our platform of choice.
