A little bit about me

A conference speaker, author and trainer on building relationships, I run various workshops with teams on growing business connections and networking online effectively. I am also a FinxS (Extended DISC®) accredited consultant, and that means I can help you communicate better. Knowing your own communication style is important because without that knowledge, how can you adapt to others?

I am also one of only 500 "LinkedIn Influencers" worldwide along with Richard Branson and Barack Obama to name a couple. As a New Zealand LinkedIn Influencer, I have over 330,000 followers and my articles have had nearly 1.5 million views on LinkedIn alone.

I am a runner and a member of the Newmarket Rotary club and as someone who has gone through breast cancer, I support cancer related charities.

I have presented to Transpower, Microsoft, Westpac, Fidelity Life, Grant Thornton, BDO, MIT, HRINZ, CPA, CAANZ, REINZ, Telfer Young, William Buck and staff of the University of Auckland amongst others and have worked with professionals at major New Zealand companies including ANZ, MYOB, Wolters Kluwer, ICONZ, Craigs Investment Partners, University of Auckland Business School and EBOS.

My books "Marketing with Social Media",  "Start with Hello" and "Learn Marketing with Social Media in 7 Days" (Wiley) are all available online or in bookstores.

You can find my articles published on the Huffington Post, LinkedIn, Mashable.com, the NZ Herald, NZBusiness Magazine, Management Magazine, Human Resources Magazine, and Social Media Examiner.

“Linda is an engaging, authoritative speaker and author who recently participated in a panel discussion on social media marketing at our annual retail conference. Linda invested significant time and effort in understanding the audience and tailored her presentation accordingly. I highly recommend Linda as a guest speaker on this subject".
